YORK, Pa. - The York College men's tennis team fell, 5-2, in a competitive bout with Marymount at home on Wednesday.
The Saints won the doubles point, but
Drew Heinzelmann and
John Shatinsky picked up a 6-3 win at the third flight.
Shatinsky also scored a victory at six singles as he defeated Jose Torrecillas, 7-5, 4-6, 1-0, to improve to 3-5 on the season.
Jason Lutz picked up a win at No. 3 singles over Joaquin Sigala. Lutz won the first set, 7-5, before Sigala retired in the second.
The Spartans return to the courts on Friday, March 27 in a dual match at McDaniel.
