Three Spartan Women Earn USTFCCCA All-Region Honors

NEW ORLEANS, La. - Three members of the York College women's track and field team earned indoor All-Mid-Atlantic Region honors as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

The top-8 individuals in each event from each region on the year-end Descending Order Lists earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-8 relay teams. The regions used for this award – East, Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, South, and West – matching those used during the cross country season.

Freshman Sperra Vittor earned an all-region honor in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.03 which she posted at the MAC Indoor Track & Field Championships. Her top time ranked third in the region this season.

Freshman Trinity Batista solidified her all-region nod at the AARTFC Indoor Championship as she posted a school record tying height of 1.67m (5' 5.75") in the high jump. That mark ranked first in the region this season and top-20 nationally, earning her spot at NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships.

Sophomore Zada Marine earned an all-region honor in the shot put as she tossed a personal-best 12.04m (39' 6") at the MAC Indoor Track & Field Championships. Her throw ranked sixth in the region.

This trio are the first indoor All-Region honorees for York since 2023. Batista is the first honoree for the indoor high jump and Marine is the first honoree for the indoor shot put in program history.
