EWING, N.J. - The
York men's wrestling team finished 11th out of 21 teams with four Spartans landing on the podium at the conclusion of the NCAA Division 3 Men's Wrestling Regional Championship on Saturday hosted by TCNJ.
No. 1-ranked
Josh Stahl led the way for York as he finished second at 197 lbs. which earned him a berth to the national competition. To qualify for nationals, a wrestler must finish third or better in their weight class.
Three other Spartans landed on the eight-man podium in their respective weight classes.
Vincent Paolucci finished fourth at 133 lbs.,
Jacob DelVecchio nabbed seventh at 125 lbs. and
Frank Gulli took eighth at 157 lbs.
The NCAA Division III Men's Wrestling Championsips are set for March 13-14 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
