Spartan Close Semester With Loss at Ursinus

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - The York College women's swimming team capped off the fall semester portion of their schedule with a 125-80 loss at Ursinus on Saturday.

York won three of 11 events with a total of 14 top-three finishes as their record fell to 3-2 this season. Ursinus improved to 5-4 overall and 3-1 at home this season.

Annika Doutrich (1000 free) and Isabella Klemm (100 fly) accounted for both of York's individual wins, in addition to contributing a victory in the 200 medley relay. Doutrich also nabbed a second-place finish in the 500 free, while Klemm claimed second in the 200 IM.

Annie Custis also had a strong overall day as she claimed second in both the 50 free and 100 free, while also contributing to a win in the 200 medley relay.

Camden Perella (200 free) and Lauren Weiss (100 breast) also claimed individual second-place finishes on the afternoon.

Hannah Machristie nabbed a trio of third-place finishes in the 100 back, 100 breast and 200 medley relay.
