Spartan Women Cruise By Etown

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. - The Spartan women's swimming team rolled to a 121-81 victory at Elizabethtown on Wednesday evening. The Spartans improve to 4-4 on the season and the Blue Jays fall to 4-5 after losing five-straight.

York compiled 14 individual top-three finishes on the day with seven first-place performances. Additionally, the Spartans swept the top-three spots in the 500 freestyle.

Isabella Klemm led the way with three victories on the day in the 200 IM 100 butterfly and 100 breaststroke. With her time of 1:06.55, she now owns the team's top time in the 100 butterfly this season. Klemm now has 20 first-place performances this season.

Annika Doutrich nabbed a pair of wins in the 1000 freestyle and 500 freestyle as she now has 14 victories this season. The freshman swam a personal best 10:58.15 in the 1000 free which is the fastest time on the team this season.

Annie Custis nabbed a pair of top-three finishes with a win in the 100 backstroke and a second in the 50 freestyle.
