YORK, PA – The York College women's swim squad returned to action for the first time since November 24 as they split a tri-meet with Dickinson and Hood on Wednesday night in York.
The Spartans, who celebrated senior day prior to the meet, dropped a 123-78 decision to Dickinson while the Spartans downed Hood 141-53 for the split.
The Spartans are now 3-4 with two regular season meets left before the MAC Championships starting on February 13.
The Spartans got three wins on the evening with freshman Annika Doutrich earning a pair of victories. Doutrich won the 200 free in a time of 2:01.08 while she also touched the wall first in the 500 free with a time of 5:25.07. The wins are her 11^th and 12^th of the season.
Isabella Klemm earned her team-leading 17^th individual win of the year as she was victorious in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:27.21. Klemm also earned a runner up finish in the 200 IM with a time of 2:17.63.
In addition to Klemm's runner up finisher, York had four other second place finishes. Freshman Annie Custis earned a pair of seconds in the 50 free and the 200 backstroke. Camden Perella was second in the 200 free while McKinley Stokley was the runner up in the 100 free.
Senior Kendra Winkleblech, who was recognized prior to the meet as the Spartans' lone women's senior, earned a third place finish in the 1000 free.
