Klemm Captures Three Wins as Spartans Fall to Washington

YORK, Pa. - The Spartan women's swimming team came up short in a 147-108 defeat to Washington (Md.) at home Saturday morning. The Shorewomen improve to 6-3 on the season and the Spartans fall to 2-3.

York compiled 14 individual top-three finishes on the day with five first-place performances.

Isabella Klemm led the way with three individual wins in the 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke and 200 IM.

Annika Doutrich won a pair of events for the second-straight meet as she touched the wall first in the 500 freestyle and 1000 freestyle.

Annie Custis led the rest of the Spartans with three top-three finishes with a pair of seconds in the 100 backstroke and 200 backstroke to go along with a third-place finish in the 50 freestyle.

Regan Hyder, Camden Perella and Kendra Winkleblech each had multiple top-three finishes on the day.
