YORK, PA – The York College women's swim squad concluded their 2023-24 regular season on Friday night with a match up against Elizabethtown. The Blue Jays garnered a 132-69 decision in York. The Spartans finish their regular season with a dual meet record of 2-8 while the Blue Jays improve to 9-3.
The Spartans got four individual wins during the meet with sophomore Isabella Klemm picking up two more victories. Klemm finished first in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:01.15 while she also won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:06.52. Klemm now has a team-leading 21 individual wins for the year.
Camden Perella won the 200 free for the Spartans with a time of 2:04.15. She finishes the regular season with six individual wins while she also picked up a second in the 500 free. The second-place finish was her team-leading eighth of the year. Senior Araby Marston posted two runner-up finishes as she was second in the 50 free and the 100 backstroke. The second-place finishes were her fifth and sixth of the year.
Kendra Winkleblech earned York's fourth top finish as she won the 1000 free with a time of 11:47.68. The win was Winkleblech's third of the year.
York got four third place finishes on the evening. Michaela Foltz was third in the 200 free while fellow senior Gabrielle Haring was third in the 50 free. Winkleblech ws third in the 100 fly while Mikaela Wovna was third in the 100 backstroke.
