YORK, PA – The York College women's swim team dropped a 119-81 decision to Saint Vincent College in a non-conference meet in York on Saturday.
The Spartans fall to 0-4 while the Bearcats improve to 3-1.
The Green and White got a pair of first place finishes from Camden Perella as the sophomore won the 200 free in a time of 2:05.20 and the 100 free in a time of 56.73. The wins for Perella were her first of the campaign. Fellow sophomore Isabella Klemm earned her sixth individual win in four meets with a victory in the 50 free with a time of 25.15. Klemm also earned her second runner-up finish of the year as she placed second in the 200 IM. Senior Araby Marston was victorious in the 100 breaststroke as she touched the wall in a time of 1:13.09.
Junior Kendra Winkleblech placed second in the 1000 free while she also earned a third in the 100 fly. Mikaela Wovna (100 backstroke) and Michaela Foltz (500 free) also earned third place finishes for the Spartans.
The meeting between the two programs is the first since 2015 as the Bearcats are now 3-0 against the Green and White.
