YORK, PA – The York College men's swim team earned a 123-78 non-conference win over Saint Vincent College on Saturday in York.
The Spartans improve to 2-2 overall while the Bearcats are 1-3 for the campaign.
Liam Perrin and James Lyon each earned a pair of wins for York. Perrin was victorious in the 1000 free with a time of 10:27.08 and the 500 free with at ime of 5:01.53. Lyon won the 200 free and the 100 free. Lyon's time in the 200 was 1:48.14 while his 100 time was 48.35. Freshman Leo Ott earned his first collegiate win in the 100 fly as he touched the wall in a time of 53.75.
Chris Hulsart picked up a pair of seconds in the 200 IM and the 100 breaststroke. Braeden Emore was second in the 200 free while he also finished third in the 100 free. Matthew Peters also earned a second and a third in the 100 fly and the 100 breaststroke.
Bryan Collins and Collin Draminski each earned runner-up finishes for York as Collins was second in the 50 free while Draminski was second in the 100 backstroke.
Nick Bordovsky recorded two thirds in the 50 free and the 100 backstroke while Alex Daniele and Connor Spillman also earned third place finishes.
The meeting between the two teams was the first since 2015 as the Spartans are now 3-1 all-time against the Bearcats.
