YORK, PA – The York College women's swim squad dropped a 154-64 decision to Salisbury University in a non-conference meet at the York Natatorium on Saturday in York.
The Spartans fall to 0-2 for the campaign while Salisbury improves to 2-0.
The Spartans got a pair of first place finishes from Isabella Klemm as she continues her strong start to the season. Klemm won the 50 free with a time of 25.06. She then set a new pool and school record in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:25.85. That's the second pool record in as many meets for Klemm. She now has a team-leading four individual wins in two meets for the Green and White. Klemm also finished second in the 100 backstroke in the meet.
Kendra Winkleblech recorded a runner up finish in the 200 fly and also had a third place finish in the 500 free. Mikaela Wovna notched York's other runner up finish as she was second in the 100 fly.
Camden Perella recorded two third place finish for the Spartans in the 200 and 100 free races. Sarah McShane was third in the 1000 free while Araby Marston was third in the 100 breaststroke.
