YORK, PA – The York College men's swim squad earned a 143-61 win over Hood College in Middle Atlantic Conference action on Saturday in York. The Spartans honored their six seniors prior to the meet.
The Spartans improve to 1-4 overall and 1-0 in the conference while the Blazers fall to 5-4 overall and 4-4 in the league.
York earned seven individual victories and a pair of relay wins in the meet. Senior
Aaron Keifer was outstanding with a pair of wins. He won the 200 free in a time of 1:48.09 and the 100 free with a time of 48.20.
Bryan Collins won the 50 free while
Matthew Peters was victorious in the 200 IM.
James Lyon touched the wall first in the 100 fly while
Collin Draminski won the 100 backstroke and
Chris Hulsart was the top finisher in the 100 breaststroke.
Liam Perrin earned a pair of runner-up finishes as he was second in the 500 and 1000 free races. Lyon, Hulsart and Peters each added second place finishes for the Spartans.
