Women's Swimming Opens Home Slate with Tri-Meet

YORK, Pa. - The Spartan women's swimming team suffered a pair of losses in a tri-meet with Messiah and Millersville at home on Saturday.

York lost 191-58 to conference foe Messiah and fell behind 171-74 to Millersville.

Taylor Harper and Colleen Mahoney eached posted a pair of individual top-5 finishes on the day.

Harper placed second in both the 100 and 200 fly events. She also contributed to a third-place finish in the 200 medley relay and a fourth-place finish in the 400 free relay.

Mahoney placed second in the 100 backstroke and took third in the 500 free.
