GRANTHAM, Pa. - The York College women's tennis team opened conference play with a 9-0 victory over Messiah on Saturday. The Spartans are now 2-0 against the Falcons this season.

Doubles Play
Elsa Oestermarker and Lauren Ostermann defeated Rebekah Adams and Kasi Conjack, 8-5, to earn their second-straight victory over the Messiah pairing this season. York's No. 1 pairing is now 4-0 on the season.
Brianna Rohrer and Michaela Sentz earned a victory in the first match together this season with an 8-0 drubbing at the No. 2 flight. Kelsey Sheets and Morrisey Walsh also posted a win in their first match together this season with an 8-6 victory at the third flight.
Singles Play
The Spartans went on to sweep all six singles matches to complete the shutout over Messiah. Morrissey Walsh defeated Hannah Olson for the second time this as the two met at the No. 6 flight this time around. Emily Louie earned her first victory of the season as she defeated Rachel Dougherty, 6-3, 6-3, at the No. 6 flight.
