GRANTHAM, Pa. - The York College men's tennis team opened conference play with a 9-0 loss to Messiah on Saturday. The Spartans are now 0-2 against the Falcons this season.

Doubles Play

Tej Laliwala and Jack Leinbach took Andrew Bookman and Galen Fitzkee down to the wire at the No. 1 flight, but eventually the Falcon duo would prevail, 8-6.

Singles Play

Laliwala went the distance at the No. 1 flight after winning the first flight, 6-1, but eventually fell, 10-5, in the third to Bookman.

The Falcons posted convincing, straight-set victories in the remaining five flights to roll to the shutout victory against York for the second time this season
