YORK, Pa. - The York College women's tennis team rolled to another 8-1 victory as the Spartans defeated King's at home on Saturday in a MAC crossover match.

Doubles Play
The Spartans posted a clean sweep in doubles play to start the day. Elsa Oestermarker and Lauren Ostermann made quick work of their match as they rolled to an 8-1 victory at the No. 1 flight to improve to 2-0 on the season.
Michaela Sentz and Chloe Doyle also had a convincing victory at No. 2 as they rolled to an 8-2 decision to claim their first win of the season. Brianna Rohrer and Morrissey Walsh posted a shutout at No. 3 doubles as they improve to 2-0 on the season.
Singles Play
The Spartans continued to dominate in singles play as all five victories came in straight sets, including a pair of shutouts. Sentz posted the most dominant performance of the day, winning 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 as she goes to 2-0 on the season.
Oestermarker turned in another convincing performance as the freshman rolled to a 6-0, 6-1 victory to improve to 2-0 at No. 1 singles on the season. Ostermann also picked up her second win of the season at No. 3 singles and Rohrer moves to 2-0 following her victory at the No. 4 flight. Doyle also claimed her second victory of the season with her 8-0 win at No. 5.
