YORK, Pa. - The York College men's tennis team suffered an 8-1 setback to King's on Saturday in a MAC crossover match at the Spartan Tennis Center.

Doubles Play
The Monarchs rolled to an 8-3 victory at the No. 1 flight and cruised to an 8-1 win at No. 2 doubles as they received a forfeit at the third flight.
Singles Play
Tej Laliwala notched York's first win of the season in singles or doubles play. The sophomore rolled to victory in straight sets at No. 1 singles as he edged out a 6-4 win in the first set before posting a 6-2 victory in the second over Logan Gregory.
Matthew Christian nearly had his first collegiate win as he put together a valiant effort at No. 5 singles. The junior lost in tie break in the first set before edging out a 7-5 victory in the second. He put up another fight in the third set before eventually falling, 10-7, to Sam Cadman.
