Box Score YORK, PA – The York College women's tennis squad dropped their second match of the fall campaign as they fell to Ursinus College 8-1 in non-conference play on Saturday in York.

The Bears improve to 2-0 while the Spartans fall to 0-2 on the fall campaign.

The Spartans picked up their lone win of the day in the first doubles match as Elsa Oestermarker and Lauren Ostermann combined to post an 8-5 win. That would be the lone highlight for the day as the Bears won the other two doubles matches 8-5 and 8-2.

The Bears cruised in the singles matches as Brianna Rohrer was the lone Spartan to force a third set as she fell in the fourth singles match 6-0, 2-6, and 10-1.

Morrissey Walsh played well but dropped the fifth singles match to Avo Campagnoni 6-2, 6-4.

The Spartans will wrap up their fall campaign on Sunday as they head to Catholic University to face the Cardinals. The non-conference match is slated for a 12:00 pm start.
