Box Score YORK, PA – The York College men's tennis team suffered a 9-0 loss to Ursinus College in their fall season finale on Saturday afternoon in York.

Ursinus improves to 1-0 while the Spartans are now 0-1.

The Bears captured all three doubles matches as they won the first doubles match in a shuout. They won the second and third doubles matches by identical 8-3 scores.

Ursinus captured all six singles matches in straight sets. Freshman Vince Griffin had the best showing for the Spartans in the fourth singles match as he fell to Darby Rogers 6-3, 6-2. Three other Spartans fell to their opponents three and one.

The Spartans are down with their fall campaign. They will return to action in March for the spring portion of their regular season schedule.
