Women's Swimming Caps Regular Season with Road Sweep

GRANTHAM, PA – The York College women's swim team capped their 2019-20 regular season with a sweep of future MAC foes Messiah and Lebanon Valley on Saturday at Messiah College. The Spartans beat Messiah 171-85 and downed Lebanon Valley 209-42.

York concludes the regular season with a mark of 8-2.

The Spartan senior class caps their dual meet careers with a record of 32-10 … senior Justine Wantz capped her regular season with a team-leading 12 individual wins after picking up two wins on Saturday … junior Maggie Stein also earned two individual wins as she finished the regular season with seven individual wins … sophomore Kristin Bria earned a win in the 50 free as she concludes the year with six individual wins … Sydney Davidson was one of three Spartans to pick up two wins on the day as she won the 100 breaststroke and the 100 fly.

 

Up Next

The Spartans return to action on Wednesday, February 11 when they open the 2020 Capital Athletic Conference championships at St. Mary's College in St. Mary's City, Maryland. The four day championship kicks off at 6:00 pm on Wednesday night and concludes on Saturday, February 15.
