CHESTERTOWN, MD – The York College women's swim team dove back into competition on Friday afternoon as they downed Washington (Md.) 113-86 in a non-conference contest in Chestertown, Maryland. The Spartans improve to 5-2 overall as it was York's first dual meet since their November 16 meet with Mary Washington
The Spartans had five swimmers pick up individual wins with Maggie Stein earning a pair of wins to pace the Green and White. Stein won the 200 free and the 100 free for the Spartans.

The Spartans swam the 100 breaststroke and the 400 freestyle relay as exhibition events … senior Justine Wantz earned her team-leading 10th individual win of the year as she was victorious in the 100 backstroke … Kristin Bria and Alyssa Coon each earned their fifth wins of the year as they are tied for second on the squad with Maggie Stein who led York with two wins during the win over the Shoreswomen … Megan Kane earned her first win of the year for the Spartans.
