Women's Swimming Rolls Past Frostburg State Friday Night

FROSTBURG, MD – The York College women's swim squad kept rolling on Friday night as the Spartans downed former Capital Athletic Conference foe Frostburg State 118-63 in non-conference action in Frostburg, Maryland. The Spartans improve to 4-1 overall.

The Spartans won seven events including two each from Alyssa Coon and Maggie Stein. Coon won the 800 free and the 100 fly while Stein won the 200 free and the 100 free. Kristin Bria, Justine Wantz and Sydney Davidson each earned single victories for the Green and White.

The Spartans swam the 400 free and the 200 freestyle relay as exhibitions … Justine Wantz picked up another win as she continues to lead the Spartans in individual wins with seven … Kristin Bria and Alyssa Coon are tied for second with four individual wins each … Maggie Stein now has three individual wins for the year …

 

Up Next

The Spartans return to action on Saturday, November 16 when the Spartans host Mary Washington in a Capital Athletic Conference meet. The meet is slated for a 1:00 pm start.
