Men's Swimming Improves to 4-1 with Friday win at Frostburg

FROSTBURG, MD – The York College men's swim team improved to 4-1 for the year as they rolled past Frostburg State 115-82 in non-conference action on Friday in Frostburg, Maryland.

The Spartans picked up seven individual wins in the meet led by senior Greg Williams who picked up two more wins. Connor McIlroy and Miles Brown split a victory in the 50 free as they finished in a tie with a time of 25.94. Jake Halem, Andrew Loayza, Aaron Keifer and Michael Federline each earned a win for the Green and White on Friday night.

Notes:

The Spartans swam the 400 free and the 200 freestyle relay as exhibitions … senior Greg Williams picked up two more wins as he now has six individual wins for the year … junior Jake Halem improved his win total to four while Connor McIlroy and Aaron Keifer also have four individual wins for the year … senior Michael Federline earned his third win of the year.

 

Up Next

The Spartans return to action on Saturday, November 16 when the Spartans host Mary Washington in a Capital Athletic Conference meet. The meet is slated for a 1:00 pm start.
