BRUNSWICK, GA – The York College women's tennis squad had their six match win streak halted as the Spartans fell to College of Coastal Georgia 8-1 in the first match of their 2018 spring trip in Brunswick, Georgia. The Mariners are ranked 22nd in the nation in NAIA.

Sophomore Hannah Shinsky picked up York's only win of the day with a 6-4, 6-3 sixth singles victory … Shinsky improves to 5-1 on the year with her only loss coming in the match at Gettysburg … Shinsky has won four straight singles matches … today's match was the first time this year that York has surrendered more than three points in a match … York had won its last three matches by a combined total of 26-1 … sophomore Maisie Supp had her five match win streak snapped with a loss at third singles.
