YORK, PA – The York College women's swim squad earned a Saturday split in their home tri-meet in York. The Spartans downed St. Mary's 160-42 in a Capital Athletic Conference action while they fell to Ursinus 115-87 in a non-conference match up.

Junior Maddy Mann picked up two more individual wins as she now leads the team with five victories … freshman Justine Wantz is right behind Mann with four wins while fellow freshman Amanda Bley has three individual wins for the season … Wantz reset her own 100 backstroke record as she swam a 59.6 in the lead off leg on the 400 medley relay race … Wantz had set the record in the opening meet of the year … Mann now has the top time in the CAC in the 100 free (54.00) while she owns the second best time in 200 freestyle and the 500 freestyle … Wantz owns the best 100 and 200 backstroke times in the conference … senior Rachel Spaulding has the second best time in the 400 IM in the CAC … the 400 free relay team of Adrianna Ayala, Margaret Stein, Andrea Sturgis, and Spaulding have the best time in the event in the conference.
