YORK, PA – The York College women's swim team opened the 2017 portion of their campaign with a tri-meet sweep of Penn State Altoona and Gallaudet on Friday evening in York. The Spartans bested Gallaudet 134-55 and Penn State Altoona 125-56 as the Spartans have won four straight.

Sophomore Maddy Mann picked up two more wins as she now owns 16 individual victories in the Spartans' eight meets so far this season … freshman Eanna Hehir-Keys earned two wins in the meet for the third time this year (Washington & Jefferson and Randolph-Macon) as she now owns nine individual wins for the campaign … the Spartans swam the final two events as exhibition as the result was well in hand … Danielle Werner earned her seventh win of the year as she was victorious in the 100 freestyle … Taylor Witte and Julia Trudel each won their second individual races of the year.

The Spartans turn around and head out on the road on Saturday as they trek to Frostburg State University for a Capital Athletic Conference meet in Frostburg, Maryland. The Spartans and Bobcats are set for a 1:00 pm start.
