Spartans Get Blanked by Salisbury in CAC Play

YORK, PA – The York College women's tennis dropped a 9-0 Capital Athletic Conference decision to Salisbury University at home on a windy Saturday afternoon in York.

Notes: The loss is York's second setback for the spring season as York is 3-2 during the spring portion of their schedule … The Sea Gulls won all six singles matches in straight sets … The third doubles team of Mckenzie Krout and Megan Jones put up York's best showing in doubles as they dropped an 8-4 decision ... Salisbury is ranked ninth in the region.

What's Next: The Spartans return to action on Saturday when they travel to St. Mary's City, Maryland to take on the St. Mary's College Seahawks in Capital Athletic Conference action. The match is slated for a 3:30 pm start. The match is a make up date after the teams were postponed on March 19.
