WESTMINSTER, MD – The York College men's tennis concluded their 2016 regular season with an 8-1 non-conference win over McDaniel College on Sunday afternoon in Westminster, Maryland. The Spartans finish the year with a record of 7-7 while the Green Terror now stand at 0-9 for the season.

1st Doubles: Zach Hanson and Rory Handlin def. Will Giles and Matthew Diers, 8-6
2nd Doubles: Sam Innerst and C.J. Weigle def. Corey Glocker and Andrew Kendrick, 8-3

The Spartans finished at .500 for the season as they won their final two matches of the year… The match was the final for Spartan seniors Zach Hanson and Rory Handlin … Hanson finished his senior year with eight singles wins while Handlin earned three wins during the season … Hanson and Handlin combined to earn four doubles wins at first doubles … Hanson's eight wins led the team in singles action … C.J. Weigle was second on the team with seven singles wins.
