YORK, PA – The York College women's swim team suffered their second loss of the year as Messiah downed the Spartans 147-115 in a non-conference meet on Saturday afternoon in York.

The Spartans suffered their second straight loss after their 3-0 start …  Sophomore Maddy Mann picked up her team-leading ninth win of the year with her victory in the 200 freestyle … Freshman Eanna Hehir-Keys earned her fifth win of the year as she was victorious in the 500 Freestyle … Junior Danielle Werner recorded her fourth victory of the year as she won the 100 breaststroke … Samantha Hay now has four runner-up finishes for the year after she turned the trick twice on Saturday … Andrea Sturgis earned her team-leading fifth runner-up finish of the campaign.

The Spartans return to action on Friday night as they will host Washington (Md.) in a non-conference meet in York. The action is set for a 5:00 pm start.
