The Spartans swam the 100 butterfly, the 200 IM, and the 400 freestyle relay as exhibitions … freshman Jesse Tate would have won the 100 fly while Drew Furcon would have placed second and AJ Loehr third if York had not swum the event as exhibition … Drew Newman would have won the 200 IM with his time of 2:04.78 … Jesse Tate earned his eighth individual win of the year with his victory in the 200 freestyle … junior Morgan Schreiber tied Tate for the team lead in wins as he picked up a pair of individual victories on Saturday … Ian Kruper earned his fourth win of the year as he won the 500 freestyle … senior Tim McCullough earned his third victory of the year with his win in the 100 breaststroke.
