ELIZABETHTOWN, PA – The York College men's swim squad opened their 2016-17 season with a 162-86 win over Elizabethtown College on Saturday afternoon in Elizabethtown.

Spartans swam the even as exhibition

 

Meet Notes:

The Spartans swam the 100 butterfly, the 400 IM and 200 freestyle relay as exhibition … Jesse Tate won have won the 100 fly with his time of 53.33 … Russell Stoll would have won the 400 IM with a time of 4:40.0 while Nick Leidy would have finished second with a time of 4:45.87 … The 200 free relay team of Ian Kruper, AJ Loehr, Glaucio Silva, and Jacob McConnell would have won their event with a time of 1:31.25 … the Spartans posted eight individual wins with eight different Spartans picking up wins … the Spartans have won 12 straight dual meets against Elizabethtown.

 

Up Next:

The Spartans make their home debut on Saturday with a Capital Athletic Conference meet against Salisbury University. The action is set for a 1:00 pm kick off in York.
