TOWSON, MD – The York College men's tennis team saw the fall portion of their schedule come to a close with a 9-0 loss at Goucher College on Saturday.
The Gophers improve to 3-0 while the Spartans fall to 2-2 with the loss.
The Gophers cruised in the doubles play as they won the first doubles 8-2, the second doubles 8-1 and the third doubles, 8-3.
Goucher won all six singles matches in straight sets. Senior Rory Handlin (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) was the Spartan closest to victory as he dropped a 6-4, 6-4 fifth singles decision.
The Spartans return to action in early March.
