YORK, PA – The York College women's tennis team took a hard 9-0 loss at the hands of Gettysburg College Wednesday evening at York. The Spartans fall to 3-9 on the season while Gettysburg improves to 8-5.

The green and white's best showing came in the second flight doubles match which pitted York's Paige Doutrich (Gap, Pa./Pequea Valley) and Stephanie Nelson (Marriottsville, Md./Liberty) against the Bullets' Meghan Kelly and Katie Taylor. The Spartan duo pushed Kelly and Taylor deep into the match but eventually fell to the Gettysburg pair 8-6.

The Spartans return to action on Friday, April 11, when they travel to Hood College in Frederick, MD for a 12:00 pm Capital Athletic Conference tilt with the Blazers.
