Jenna Gormley joins LoBianco’s cross country coaching staff in 2013. In her first year of working predominantly with the women’s team, Gormley saw a season littered with success. Gormley was able to help the women’s team achieve the program’s first 1-2 finish at the CAC Championship meet, as well as a very close second place finish as a team. The success of the team continued as the women placed 8th as a team at regionals, becoming the first Women’s Cross Country team to place in the top ten at NCAA Regionals. She also was able to help coach Jess Miller to earn All-Region accolades and become the first female in York history to compete at NCAA Cross Country Nationals.
Gormley is a 2009 Shippensburg University graduate who competed for the Red Raiders. Gormley is a 2009 graduate of Shippensburg University with a double major of Marketing/Management.
Gormley brings a great love of running to the staff. She continues to compete in events after college. She owns a 5K PR of 18:22, a 10K PR of 38:55, and a personal best of 1:28 in a half marathon.
