Spartans Take Fifth in Flight, Eighth Overall at Pre-Regional Meet

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The York College women's cross country team competed at the Pre-Regional Meet Saturday morning hosted by DeSales University. With the large event split into two flights, the Spartans finished fifth in the Blue group while taking eighth overall out of the 41 total teams in attendance.

Overall, Misty Parshall took ninth in the Blue group, 20th place out of 424 total participants, as the freshman standout continues to perform well. On this day, Parshall she clocked a 24:43.67.

Mandy Parshall notched 24th in the Blue flight, 51st overall, with a 25:28.93 while Jess Miller snaggedd 35th in the flight, 70th overall, with a time of 25:53.65.

Junior Tuesday Wilson posted a 25:59.41 for the Green and White, giving her a placing her 39th in the group, 76th overall as Nicole Danielewicz followed close by with a 26:03.09 to take 40th and 81stoverall.

Emily Abell timed a 27:03.90 for York while Katie Meehan put together a 27:38.61.

The Spartans return to action on Saturday, October 15, when they travel to Towson, Md. for the Goucher College Classic. Race time is slated for 10:30 am.
