2009: McDaniel 5k run seventh place time of 22:09 ... recorded a time of 27:17.28 and placed seventh at the McDaniel green terror invitational after returning from injury ... Albright and Goucher Invitational nabbed fourth place at both races ... Hood Invitational finished seconds behind teammate Melody Parshall coming in seventh place ... Goucher 10,000 meter dual meet placed third with partner Andrew Friesema, had a time of 27:16.38 ... CAC Championships placed 15th ... snagged second-team all-league honors for the second year in a row ... NCAA Division III regional meet completed the meet with a 25:18.1 time.
2008: McDaniel 5k run finished 14th place with a time of 23:28.16 ... at the Spartan Invitational came in fifth with 20:55.67 on the clock ... Cabrini Invitational was the second Spartan to cross the finish line with a 21st place ... Goucher 6k run came in 11th place, 25:48 ... relay race finished first with partner Bret Kilfner ... at CAC Championships 6k run came in ninth overall with a great time of 24:53.50 ... landed on the All-CAC second-team ... selected as the conference's Rookie-of-the-Year.
Personal: Is a nursing major ... is the daughter of Keith and Beverly Thompson ... born on December 12, 1989 ... participated in cross country in high school ... names her mom as the person she most admires for "putting up with her four daughters" ... hobbies include piano and soccer ... chose York because of the"great nursing program and cross country team" ... most significant athletic achievement is being a top-two runner for the Spartans as a freshman ... most memorable moment while with the Spartan program is her first cross country race when both her shoelaces came untied ... after graduation she plans on passing her boards and becoming a nurse in a hospital.
