YORK, PA – The York College volleyball extended their win streak to a season-high six with a 3-0 win over Capital Athletic Conference foe St. Mary's College on Friday night in York.

Match Notes:

The Spartans hit a season-high .316 in the win with 43 kills and just six errors in 95 attempts … the six errors are a season-low for the Spartans … it's the fourth time the Spartans have less than 10 errors in a match and they are 4-0 in those matches … York had 12 block assists in the game and that's the 11th time this year that the Spartans have reached double figures in block assists … York improves to 7-3 in three set decisions … York has won 15 of 20 third sets this year … freshman Tyler Williams banged out 10 kills marking the second time this year she has reached double figures in kills (a career-high 13 vs. Kings on Sept. 22) ... the Spartan six game win streak is their longest of the year ... the six match win streak is their longest since last season's 11-game streak. 

 

Up Next:

The Spartans head back out on the road to kick off a three game road swing starting on Tuesday night when they complete their home and home with Elizabethtown. The match is slated for a 7:00 pm start. York then heads to Southern Virginia and Frostburg State next Friday.
