    Young Spartans Gain Experience, Now Look to 2009 The York College volleyball team put together a solid 2008 campaign, posting a 19-15 record with an exceptionally young squad. A majority of the Spartans who saw significant time on the court were either sophomores or freshmen, which bodes well for the green and white in the future.

    Waltermyer named to the All-CAC Squad York College sophomore middle hitter Alishia Waltermyer earned All-Capital Athletic Conference Volleyball honors as the squads were announced by the conference office. Waltermyer had an outstanding second year in the green and white as she led the Spartans in a number of different categories this year.
