YORK PA. - The York College women’s soccer team (12-4-2) is headed off to the CAC Women’s Soccer Championship game on Saturday against Christopher Newport (10-9) at 2 p.m. at Christopher Newport.
The Spartans won their semifinal CAC tournament game with a 3-1 win over Mary Washington (full story here). The Spartans will look to continue their recent scoring success as the head to Virginia to take on the Captains. Christopher Newport faced Salisbury in their semifinal game on Wednesday. The Captains won the contest 3-1 after being down early in the match. The Spartans and Captains face each other for the second time this season. In their first meeting, York traveled to Christopher Newport and lost a 1-0 decision on the Captain’s senior day (Story here).
