2012: Begins her sophomore season with the Spartan program . . . will look to be a spark on offense . . . possesses solid field vision . . . will most likely see time in the middle of the pitch . . . with more experience she should be able to play even more of a key role for the Green and White.
2011: Appeared in 18 games for the Spartan’s . . . made 15 starts . . . tallied eight shots on goal . . . ended the season with a total of 13 shots . . . had a single-game high three shots on Oct. 1 against Wesley.
Personal: Is a nursing major . . . the daughter of Wayne and Allyson Folk . . . born on August 19, 1993 . . . was a stand-out perfomer in high school as she was a four-time all-star including three selections to the first-team . . . received the coaches award as a sophomore and senior . . . named to the HAC first-team . . . honored as the Female Athlete of her class in high school . . . names her parents as the people she most admires . . . hobbies include basketball, lacrosse, facebook, and watching Survivor . . . favorite athlete is Mia Hamm . . . chose York because her "family is near and it was close to home that had a nursing program" . . . lists her most significant athletic achievement as making it to the final-four in states . . . after graduation she plans on becoming a registered nurse . . . has a cumulative GPA of 3.55 . . . is a two-time member of the Dean's List.
