Wright and Muston to Represent the Spartans at the IWLCA Senior All-Star Game

YORK, PA – York College senior women's lacrosse goalie Charlotte Wright and head coach Jen Muston will represent the Spartan program at the 2018 IWLCA Senior All-Star game on Saturday, June 2 at Tierney Field at the US Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Maryland.

The Division III game will cap the trio of All-Star games at 2:30 pm. The Division I game kicks off the action at 11:30 am followed the Division II game at 1:00 pm.

Muston will serve as the head coach for the Division III South squad. She will head a 22-player team that will include Spartan standout goalie Wright.

Wright had a fantastic senior year as she went 15-5 for the Green and White. She registered an 8.29 goals against average and a 52.4% save percentage. She played in 998:50 minutes in goal for York while she registered 152 saves.

Wright ranks third in the CAC in goals against average, second in save percentage, second in wins, and fourth in saves. She finished her Spartan career with an overall record of 44-13, a goals against average of 7.54, a save percentage of .465, 319 saves and 2,919 minutes of action in cage.

Wright's name is all over the Spartan career record book. She is first in goalie wins, second in total saves, third in goals against average, fourth in save percentage, and third in saves per game.

Wright is the eighth Spartan to participate in the Senior All-Star game in the history of the Spartan program. Katie Vautier and Kim Wayson were the first two Spartans to earn a spot in the game in 2013. Erica Mulford followed in 2014 and national defensive player of the year Karlie Dougherty made the game in 2015. Megan Strauch earned a berth in 2016 while Katelyn Cattrano and Erin Mensch represented the Spartans last spring.

Muston just finished up her 11th year at the helm of the Spartan program. She has an overall record of 142-63, good for a winning percentage of 69.2%. She has led the Spartans to seven NCAA Division III Tournament appearances and a a trio of Elite Eight games. Muston owns 142 of the program's 155 all-time wins and boasts a CAC record of 59-23. She is a three-time CAC Coach of the Year (2011, 2012, 2017) and was the IWLCA Metro Coach of the Year in 2012.
