Women's Lacrosse to Host NCAA Tournament Opening Weekend

YORK, Pa. – The York College women's lacrosse team awaits the winner of Washington & Lee and Cabrini in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday at Kinsley Field. The Spartans earned an at-large bid when the field was announced last Sunday, making their seventh consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament.

Washington & Lee and Cabrini will play at Kinsley Field on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the opening round for the right to take on the Green and White. Sunday's second round matchup is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start.

York enters the national tournament at 13-4, having gone 7-1 in the Capital Athletic Conference, which placed three teams in NCAAs, and reached the semifinals of the conference tournament.
