Women's Lacrosse Opens CAC Tournament With Top-10 Matchup

YORK, Pa. – The York College women's lacrosse team begins its postseason run against the University of Mary Washington in the Capital Athletic Conference semifinals on Wednesday evening at Kinsley Field. The Spartans, the fifth-ranked team in the nation, went 8-1 at home this season. First draw is set for 4 p.m.

York enters the playoffs as the No. 2 seed in the CAC after going 7-1 and 13-3 overall, looking to reach the conference championship game for the sixth time in program history, all coming in the last seven years. Mary Washington enters as the No. 3 seed, and the eighth-ranked program in Division III, but the Spartans took the lone meeting this season, defeating the Eagles 9-7 on the road.
