Clauter Named the CAC Defensive Player of the Week

YORK, PA - York College junior defender Nicole Clauter has been named the Capital Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Defender of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday.

Clauter collected a school-record 12 draw controls in the win over #3 Trinity on Wednesday night. She also had two ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers.

Clauter added six draw controls, two ground balls and two more caused turnovers in the win at Oswego.

Clauter finished the week with 18 draw controls, four ground balls and four caused turnovers.

For the year, Clauter leads the team with 31 draw controls, 10 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers for the #5 Spartans.
