    YORK, PA – Nicole Clauter of the York College women’s lacrosse team has been named a first-team All-American by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) on Friday. She becomes just the seventh Spartan to earn All-American honors, and the second to be placed on the first team.

    YORK, PA – The York College women’s lacrosse team fell to Salisbury University 7-2 in the Capital Athletic Conference Tournament championship on Saturday at Kinsley Field. The loss was the Spartans’ fifth in the CAC Tournament title game to the Sea Gulls. Caitlin Rankin scored both goals for the top-seeded Spartans, both on free-position attempts, but York couldn't convert enough of their chances to keep pace with Salisbury.

Senior Rachel Saks scored a career-high four times to lead the Spartans to their fourth consecutive victory, all coming in Capital Athletic Conference play.

    YORK, PA – The York College women’s lacrosse team scored eight goals within the first eight minutes of the game to put away Frostburg State 19-7 on Monday in Capital Athletic Conference play. Regan Cook led the way with four goals, and Claudia DiVenti and Skye Slater poured in three goals each to propel the Spartans past the Bobcats. The seventh-ranked Spartans are now 2-0 in conference play.

    YORK, PA – The York College women’s lacrosse team opened Capital Athletic Conference play with a 10-6 home triumph over the University of Mary Washington on Saturday. The battle of two nationally-ranked teams opened the conference season for the Spartans, who were led by freshman Meghan Fox’s two goals and three assists.

    GETTYSBURG, PA – The York College women’s lacrosse team fell to Gettysburg College 9-5 on Wednesday afternoon in a battle of top-10 nationally-ranked squads. Junior Melissa Meehling led the Spartans with two goals, but York was unable to overcome a flurry of goals late in the first half when the Bullets scored four in just 1:47.
