YORK, PA – For the second time this season, York College senior women's lacrosse attack Erica Mulford (Crownsville, Md./Seton Keough) was named the Capital Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday.
Mulford had a pair of big weeks as the Spartans went 2-0 and secured the second seed in the upcoming Capital Athletic Conference Tournament.
In the win over St. Mary's, Mulford recorded three goals and a ground ball in York's 11-5 mid-week win against the Seahawks.
Mulford then capped her regular season with six goals on a mere seven shots in the Spartans' 15-10 win at Christopher Newport on Saturday. She also had a caused turnover and a ground ball in the win.
For the season, Mulford has 46 points on 37 goals and nine assists. She ranks second all-time in scoring in school history and is 11 points away from becoming the second Spartan to reach 200 career points.
