Mulford Claims CAC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week

YORK, Pa. – Erica Mulford, York college women's lacrosse sophomore attack, has been selected as the Capital Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for the 2012 campaign.

Mulford powered the Spartans past the Crusaders of Alvernia University in an overwhelming 20-11 victory. From the victory, Mulford grabbed a total of six points with four goals and two assists. Mulford has been nothing short of excellent to start her sophomore campaign. In just four games Mulford has a total of 16 points with 11 goals and five assists.  At this rate she will surpass her previous collegiate record of 19 goals in just four more games if she continues to register an average of 2.75 goals per game.

Mulford a key offensive asset for the green and white has helped the Spartans to their second best start in school history as they currently sit at 4-0.

Mulford and the Spartans return to action on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, when they welcome #6 Franklin & Marshell to Kinsley Field for a 4:00 pm match.
