• Stevenson would get both runs back in the bottom of the fifth when they scored three runs on just two hits. The Mustangs led off the inning with back-to-back hitters getting plunked and then both stealing bases to have runners on second and third with nobody out. How It Happened

• The Spartans got on the board in the first inning of game two without registering a hit. Pastore would come in to score on a sacrifice bunt by Mia Ruffalo giving York the early 1-0 advantage.

• Stevenson would answer in the bottom of the second. After a hit-by-pitch and a walk to start off the inning, Jessica Alicea would knock a single to right field to bring in the tying run. Stevenson would strand a pair of runners on base as the game was tied 1-1 after two innings of play.

• York would add a run in the third and fourth inning off an RBI-single from Harhigh in the third inning and a Ruffalo double and then a sacrifice fly by Joanna Marmo that would push the York lead to 3-1. In the fifth inning, the Spartans would add two more runs on a two-run homer from Pastore as York doubled their lead and took a 5-1 advantage into the bottom of the fifth.

• Stevenson would answer in a big way in the bottom of the fifth scoring four runs in the frame to tie the game up 5-5. The Mustangs started the inning with four straight hits including a three-run blast off the bat of Erin Stephey. Alexandra Digrande would complete the four-run frame with a two-out RBI-single to right field. Both teams would be held scoreless the final two innings of regulation and the game moved to extras.

• In the eighth inning, the Spartans would get a run as Ruffalo started the frame at second base. She would come in to score on an Alexis Jury infield single to give York the lead. Stevenson would tie the game up in the bottom half of the inning on a Samantha Znamirowski two-out single to center field sending the game to a ninth inning.

• In the ninth, York would score two runs with two outs to grab an 8-6 lead. Elle Meyer brought in Julie Van O'Linda to grab the lead, and then Meyer came in on a Mustang error for a crucial insurance run as York led by two with just three outs to go. Stevenson would score one in the bottom of the ninth but Pastore got Erin Muir to groundout back to the circle to pick up the save and salvage a split with the 8-7 game two win.
