Hill Named CAC Offensive Player of the Week

YORK, PA - York College softball player Payton Hill (Stauton, Va./Fort Defiance) has been named the Capital Athletic Conference Softball Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the league on Monday afternoon. Hill led the Spartans to four wins during the week to garner the award.

Hill led the Spartans to four wins for the week with a fantastic individual week as the freshman designated player hit .467 with 12 RBI, five runs scored, four doubles, and three home runs in eight games. Hill went 14-for-30 at the plate as she notched a .900 slugging percentage and a .500 on-base percentage.

Hill had her biggest game of the week in the win over Washington College on Friday as she went 3-for-4 with two doubles and a career-high six RBI. She also had three hits in the openers of the Bridgewater and Misericordia double headers. She had a hit in every game for the week while she homered in three straight games during the week.
