2009: Made an immediate impact on the Spartan squad as a freshman as she went 14-9 with a 1.57 ERA in 25 appearances … earned first-team All-CAC for her outstanding season … led the nation in strikeout to walk ratio as she recorded 87 strikeouts while she only walked eight during the year … had 20 complete games with seven shutouts and one save … held opponents to a .232 batting average … began her career with back-to-back shutouts as she blanked Goldey-Beacom and Roanoke on February 27 as she allowed five hits in both games … threw a one-hit shutout on March 31 against Gallaudet as she struck out five in the big Spartan win … registered her first career save on April 26 in the second game against DeSales as she threw the final two-thirds of an inning, preserving the 4-3 Spartan win … at the plate, had her first collegiate hit in the February 27 game against Roanoke … established a career-high with two hits six different times during the year … had her first career extra base hit with her double in the April 5 contest against Wesley … in that Wesley game, she went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored … also had two hits, two RBI and a triple in the April 16 win over Stevenson … finished the year hitting .272 with nine runs scored, four doubles, one triple, and seven RBI … posted a .346 slugging percentage, a .314 on-base percentage, and a .976 fielding percentage.
